Miraj Note is designed to function as a localized, private productivity tool. Below is the exact breakdown of how data is handled:
- Local Storage: All notes, preferences, and clipped web texts are saved directly to your browser's local storage using the Chrome Storage API.
- Google Authentication: When you enable cloud synchronization, Miraj Note uses the Chrome Identity API to securely authenticate you via your Google account. We only access your email address to verify your active session.
- Drive Synchronization: Notes are synced to a dedicated, hidden folder inside your personal Google Drive (appDataFolder). We do not have access to any other files or folders in your Google Drive.
Google API Limited Use Disclosure: Miraj Note's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
